Journal of Case Reports and Reviews in Medicine (ISSN: 3069-0749) is a peer-reviewed publication dedicated to advancing medical knowledge through the detailed documentation and analysis of clinical cases. Our journal provides a platform for the dissemination of comprehensive case reports, series, clinical images and in-depth reviews that offer novel insights into patient care, diagnostic challenges, therapeutic interventions, unexpected complications, and rare or unique clinical presentations. Additionally, our review articles synthesize current research trends and clinical practices, offering a comprehensive understanding of various medical conditions and treatments.

Meta-Analyses

Statistical analyses that combine results from multiple studies to provide a more comprehensive understanding of a research question. Meta-analyses should follow established guidelines for systematic reviews and provide transparent reporting of methods and findings.
Technical Notes

Descriptions of new or modified techniques, tools, or methodologies in medicine. Technical notes should provide practical insights and details that can benefit other doctors, researchers or practitioners.
Manuscript Preparation :
General Formatting :

Language : Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English. Authors for whom English is not a first language are encouraged to seek language editing services before submission.
File Format : Manuscripts should be submitted as Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) files. PDF submissions are also accepted, but a word document version must be included.
Text Layout : Use 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all sides. Include page numbers and continuous line numbering throughout the manuscript.
Structure of Manuscript :

Title Page : The title page should include the title of the manuscript.
Authors : List all authors' full names and institutional affiliations of all authors, and the corresponding author’s contact information (email and phone number).
Abstract : Provide a concise summary of the manuscript in 250 words or less. The abstract should consist of a single, stand-alone paragraph. It should not contain references, equations ,or tables. Any abbreviations should be defined.
Keywords : Include 4-6 keywords relevant to the manuscript’s content.
Introduction : Outline the background, objectives, and significance of the research.
Materials and Methods (Research Papers): Provide detailed information on the methods used, allowing replication of the study by other researchers.
Results : Present the research findings clearly and concisely, using tables and figures where appropriate.
Discussion : Interpret the results, highlighting the implications of the findings, and compare them with existing research.
Conclusion : Summarize the main findings and suggest future research directions.
Acknowledgments : Acknowledge contributions from individuals or institutions that supported the research.
References : List all references cited in the manuscript, following the preferred citation style AMA (American Medical Association). Ensure that all references are complete and accurate.
Figures and Tables :

Figures : All figures should be submitted in high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi), preferably in JPEG, PNG, or TIFF format. Figures should be numbered sequentially and include descriptive captions.
Tables : Tables should be included within the manuscript text, numbered sequentially, and include clear titles and legends. Each table should be presented on a separate page.
Supplementary Material :

Authors may submit supplementary material that supports the content of the manuscript (e.g., datasets, multimedia files). These should be referenced within the manuscript and uploaded separately during submission.
Ethical Considerations
Research Ethics :

Authors must ensure that their research complies with ethical guidelines. For studies involving human subjects, authors must provide a statement confirming that informed consent was obtained and that the study was approved by an appropriate ethics committee. For animal studies, authors must state that the research was conducted following institutional and national guidelines for animal care and use.
Conflict of Interest :

All authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation. This information should be included in a separate section of the manuscript.
Plagiarism :

SCIVOLVE has a strict policy against plagiarism. Authors must ensure that their work is original and properly cites all sources. Manuscripts are subject to plagiarism detection software, and any submission found to contain plagiarized content will be rejected.
Submission Process
Online Submission :

Manuscripts must be submitted through the SCIVOLVE online submission system at https://www.scivolve.com/submitmanuscript.php
Cover Letter :

A cover letter must accompany the manuscript submission. The cover letter should briefly describe the significance of the research, the contribution it makes to the field, and why it is suitable for publication in a SCIVOLVE journal. Authors should also confirm that the manuscript is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Author Contributions :

Authors must clearly indicate the contributions of each co-author in the cover letter or a dedicated section of the manuscript. This transparency helps prevent disputes over authorship and ensures proper credit is given.
Article Processing Charges (APCs):

Journal of Case Reports and Reviews in Medicine follows a full Open Access publishing model, making all articles freely available for readers worldwide without subscription or access fees. Content will be viewed, downloaded, and shared without restriction, provided the original work is properly cited under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.
To sustain quality open access publication and cover the costs of editorial management, peer-review coordination, plagiarism screening, copyediting, DOI registration, website hosting, indexing preparation, and long-term archiving, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 1,520 applies to each accepted manuscript.
There are no submission fees or charges for rejected articles. The submitting author (or the author’s institution/funder) is responsible for payment after acceptance.
Please note that payments are non-refundable once editorial processing has begun.
Post-Submission Process
Peer Review :

Once submitted, the manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review process, as outlined in SCIVOLVE’s Peer Review Process. Authors may be required to revise their manuscript based on the feedback from reviewers.
Decision and Publication :

Following peer review, the editorial team will make a final decision on the manuscript (accept, revise, or reject). Accepted manuscripts will proceed to the production stage, where they will be copyedited, typeset, and proofed before publication. Authors will receive page proofs for final approval.
Open Access and Licensing :

SCIVOLVE operates under an open access model, ensuring that all published articles are freely accessible to the global research community. Authors retain copyright of their work and can choose from a range of Creative Commons licenses to determine how their work can be used by others.
Appeals and Complaints
Appeals :

Authors who believe that their manuscript was unfairly rejected may submit an appeal to the editorial office. The appeal must be based on a substantive disagreement with the reviewers’ comments or the editorial decision. Appeals will be considered by a senior editor or an independent reviewer.

Any complaints regarding the editorial process, peer review, or publication ethics should be directed to the SCIVOLVE editorial office. We take all complaints seriously and will investigate any concerns promptly and transparently.
